diet+sadness=next six months

so…if you haven’t guessed i’m engaged.

we’re six months away from being married and although i’m not terribly out of shape, i’m definitely not the healthiest i’ve ever been.

so i’m going on a six month diet.  this is a lifestyle diet.  no gimmicks, no pills, just eating healthy and exercise.  if you’re thinking, hey i wanna get healthy!  here’s a list of things i can and cannot eat.

cannot:  fast food, french fries, milkshakes, oreos, candy, cookies, cake, pie, chips, sweet tea, soda etc

can:  carrots, apples, oranges, salami, beef jerky, whole grain bread, eggs, bacon, unsweet tea, coffee

so in honor of me not being able to enjoy the greasiness of american fast food, here’s my favorite BK commercial ever.

  1. Dude…do the Body for Life. Great program…lets you eat things that you want to eat once a week, and has a nice exercise part. It really works! I stopped doing it in September, but am going back to it starting tomorrow (because I’m going to St. John’s with my bride in January.)

  2. I’m with you. Unfortunately, my emotions tend to dictate what I eat a little more often than I’d like, but on my best behavior, I’m a lifestyle diet kinda gal. Good luck!
